As an investor in early-stage companies, Purple Sage Ventures was founded with the mission to build an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem by partnering with diverse and underrepresented founding teams. Working closely with the founder and managing partner of Purple Sage Ventures, Liz Leahy, I created their visual brand and online platform to emphasize their stance of “equality in funding” and communicate the overlooked value of investing in women and BIPOC-owned start-ups.

With only their name and mission, Purple Sage Ventures and I built a brand identity that exemplified empowerment and inclusivity with a clean, modern font and a vibrant, purple-centric color palette. Branding work included developing the company's visual identity, logo, copy, and social media/event graphics. We chose to incorporate statistics that were high impact and easy to understand and developed copy that conveys to potential partners that Purple Sage PSV is approachable, knowledgable, and trustworthy.

As PSV grew, I developed webpage layouts to showcase the companies they’ve partnered with, compile resources for start-ups, share the positive impact of investing in BIPOC and female entrepreneurs, and invite founders to submit their pitches. The final website captures PSV's vision and character, helping them to partner with a growing portfolio of changemakers and trailblazers.
